Professional Training

In 2006, Health Quarters started offering a professional training series, Connecting With Teens Around Sex, which presented workshops on  topics such as oral sex, STDs, and healthy sexuality in adolescent males.

HQ is now offering a second series, Meeting Teens Where They’re At. This series broadens the focus beyond sexuality education-related topics to reflect Health Quarters’ expertise in working with teens and organizations to promote a range of healthy behaviors.

Professional training enhances Health Quarters’ ability to work with - and through – community partners, who can communicate information to others in a variety of venues. Improved communication enhances our community partners’ ability to better serve their teenage clients while they expand their knowledge and skills in reproductive health issues and positive youth development.
