Professional Training
Since 2006, Health Quarters has offered a professional training series,
Connecting With Teens Around Sex, covering topics such as oral sex, STDs, and healthy sexuality in adolescent males.
This series enhances Health Quarters’ ability to work with - and through – community partners to sustain our
mission-driven goal of providing comprehensive sexuality education. These trainings are intended to educate youth-serving providers who can become committed,
equal partners focused on innovation and early adoption of sexuality education.
Trainings are an efficient way of disseminating information to those who can communicate it to others in a variety of venues.
Improved communication enhances our community partners’ ability to better serve their teenage clients while they expand their knowledge and skill in this area.
